Discover a fresh take on the beloved "Kartoshka" cake! This recipe is perfect for those mindful of their diet, as it contains significantly less sugar than the classic version. The dessert's base is rice cakes, which can be substituted with oat or multi-grain varieties. The combination of banana, honey, cocoa powder, and delicate plant-based milk (we used coconut, but feel free to experiment with any other!) creates an incredibly delicious and wholesome treat that won't compromise your figure.

Thoroughly wash and peel the banana. Prepare the blender for the next steps.
Grind the rice cakes in a blender until fine crumbs are formed. This will be the base of your dessert.
Mash the banana with a fork until it forms a puree. Add coconut milk and honey to the banana, then mix thoroughly.
Combine the crushed crackers with the banana mixture in a deep bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder and mix the ingredients thoroughly until smooth.
Form small balls from the obtained mixture, shaping them like "Kartoshka" cakes.
Roll each pastry in the remaining cocoa powder. Then transfer them to a plate and refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
Serve the finished pastries on a plate, optionally garnishing with fresh berries for added brightness and freshness.
