Be sure to prepare this plum compote for winter without seeds. The recipe is simple, so even an inexperienced cook can cope with it. The preparation is two in one: the liquid quenches thirst well, and the fruit can be enjoyed for dessert. Choose slightly underripe plums with thick skin. The seeds need to be removed. It is enough to simply cut the plum in half and carefully remove it. Thanks to this procedure, we will increase the shelf life of the compote. So make more at once! The recipe provides ingredients at the rate of one three-liter jar. And then increase the proportions as many times as necessary.

Serves:
Plum - 1 kg
Sugar - 400 g
Water - 3 l
1
Prepare all the ingredients for making seedless plum compote for the winter. Rinse the fruits thoroughly and dry. Carefully cut in half and remove the pit.
2
Sterilize a three-liter jar in any convenient way. For example, you can pour some water and put it in the microwave for 5-7 minutes. Boil the lids in water for about 10 minutes.
3
Place plum halves in a jar. The larger the drain, the richer the compote will be. The amount listed in the ingredients should be enough to fill 1/3 of the jar.
4
Boil water and pour it into a jar with the plums. It is better to use bottled water with a neutral taste. Cover with a lid and leave to steep for 15 minutes.
5
Pour the water into the pan and then add the sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook, stirring, for about 3-5 minutes. The sugar should dissolve completely. Add lemon juice.
6
Pour the finished syrup into a jar and seal with lids. Turn upside down and let cool at room temperature. You can wrap the jar in a blanket or towels.
