Start with thorough preparation: wash and dry the chicken eggs. Then, sift the wheat flour through a fine sieve to make it airy. Prepare a deep bowl, a whisk, plastic wrap, and a bread baking pan.
Gently warm the milk until it's lukewarm. Pour it into a deep bowl, then add the yeast, salt, and sugar. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.
Add 150-200g of sifted flour to the bowl and gently mix the starter. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave it in a warm place for 30 minutes for the starter to rise.
Crack a chicken egg and pour olive oil into the starter. Whisk the dough thoroughly until smooth.
Add the remaining flour to the bowl and knead into an elastic and smooth dough. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise for 2 hours.
Transfer the dough into a baking dish, previously greased with butter. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let it rest for another thirty minutes. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Place the mold in a preheated oven and bake the bread for 35 minutes. After baking, use a silicone brush to lightly moisten the top of the finished bread with water. Let it cool, then carefully remove it from the mold.
Slice the cooled toast bread. Serve it spread with butter and jam, and enjoy this wonderful accompaniment to tea.
