First, soak the raisins in 2 tablespoons of hot water for 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, peel and thoroughly wash the carrots. Wash and dry the apples and lemon. Cut off a third of the lemon and squeeze out its juice. Prepare a grater for the carrots, a cutting board, and a salad bowl.
Finely chop the walnuts. Drain the water from the soaked raisins and mix them with the walnuts in a salad bowl.
Grate the carrots on a medium grater and add them to the salad bowl with the nuts and raisins.
Pour lemon juice and add honey to the carrots.
Thoroughly mix the salad and let it rest for 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld harmoniously.
Peel and core the apples. Slice them thinly, then cut each slice in half.
Add the sliced apples to the salad bowl. Gently mix all the ingredients: carrots, raisins, nuts, and apples.
Serve the salad garnished with vibrant pineapple candied fruit and fresh basil leaves for an extra aromatic and visual appeal.
