The difference is that the "Winter" salad uses only ingredients readily available in winter, namely pickled or brined cucumbers, which give it a unique taste and aroma. Prepare all ingredients: thoroughly wash the potatoes and eggs, peel the onion, and drain excess liquid from the peas. Don't forget to prepare the cooking utensils.
Boil the potatoes until tender, which will take about 20-25 minutes. After boiling, let them cool and carefully peel off the skin.
Boil the eggs in simmering water for 8 minutes until they are fully cooked through. Afterwards, cool them down and peel off their shells.
Dice the peeled potatoes, sausage, cucumber, and eggs into small, neat cubes. Finely chop the onion so it distributes evenly throughout the salad.
Transfer all the chopped ingredients into a deep bowl. Add canned peas to them to make the salad even richer.
Dress the salad with mayonnaise, adding spices to taste – salt and ground black pepper. Thoroughly mix all the ingredients so they are well combined and coated with the dressing.
