Thaw the dough until it's pliable. Wash the strawberries thoroughly and pat them dry on a towel to remove excess moisture. Prepare your blender for making a smooth filling and your baking dish to start creating.
Line the baking pan with parchment paper to prevent the pie from sticking. Gently place the dough into the pan without rolling it out, and spread it evenly over the bottom and sides. Trim any excess dough hanging over the edges of the pan.
Prick the dough in several places with a fork to prevent it from puffing up during baking. For extra assurance that the dough will remain flat, place a piece of parchment paper on top and fill it with dried chickpeas, which will act as a weight. Preheat the oven to 200°C and bake the quiche crust for 10 minutes with the chickpeas.
Meanwhile, while the base is baking, prepare the delicate filling. Place sour cream in a blender bowl, crack an egg, add regular and vanilla sugar. Whisk all ingredients until a smooth and airy mixture is obtained.
