Discover an amazing blend of flavors in this jam, where the delicate aroma of raspberries harmoniously intertwines with tart blackcurrants. The berries perfectly complement and accentuate each other, creating a unique bouquet. If you boil the jam for no more than 5 minutes after it comes to a boil, the raspberries will retain their vibrant color and shape, making the dessert not only delicious but also incredibly beautiful.

Gather all the necessary items: a saucepan, a clean cloth towel, a 0.5-liter jar with a canning lid, and a can-sealing key. Thoroughly sterilize the jar and lid using any method convenient for you, to ensure the jam can be stored for a long time.
Carefully transfer the fresh raspberries and currants into a saucepan. Sprinkle the berries evenly with sugar. Gently shake the saucepan to distribute the sugar among the berries. Cover the saucepan with a towel and let it sit for 1-2 hours to allow the berries to release their fragrant juice.
After the specified time, place the pot with the berry mixture over medium heat. Wait until the jam begins to boil vigorously, then carefully skim off any foam that forms. Reduce the heat and continue to cook for another 4-5 minutes to preserve the shape and color of the berries.
Add citric acid to the hot jam and stir everything thoroughly so that it is evenly distributed. Immediately after this, remove the pot from the heat.
Place a dry, sterilized jar on a cloth towel. Carefully fill the jar with hot jam and seal it tightly with a lid. Allow the jam to cool completely at room temperature, wrapping the jar in a towel. Once cooled, store the jam in a cool place.
Serve this wonderful jam with your favorite pastries, toast, or simply with tea, savoring every moment.
