Chicken goulash with country-style potatoes - a balanced recipe featuring: chicken breast, potatoes, onions, carrots, tomato paste, and wheat flour (45 minutes, 1763 kcal).

Cut the chicken fillet into 2-3 cm cubes. Peel the potatoes and cut them into large chunks.
Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots using a coarse grater. Mince the garlic through a press.
Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or a heavy-bottomed pot. Sear the chicken for 5–7 minutes until golden brown. Add the onion and carrot, then sauté for 5 minutes until softened.
Pour in the flour, stir, and cook for 1 minute. Add the tomato paste and garlic, then mix. Pour in hot water and bring to a boil.
Add the chopped potatoes, salt, pepper, and bay leaf. Reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and simmer for 25-30 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
Serve hot. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
