Step 1

Sort the berries, rinse thoroughly, place on paper napkins and let them dry. Pour the blueberries into a fine sieve and strain, collecting the juice in a bowl. Wrap the remaining pulp in several layers of gauze and squeeze out the juice.

Place the pulp in a saucepan, add hot water, place over high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, cook for 10 minutes. Strain the broth through a sieve or cheesecloth.

Add sugar to the hot broth and stir until completely dissolved. Let cool, add squeezed juice. Before serving, you can dilute the fruit drink with mineral water to taste. Add sugar if necessary.
