Rich chocolate glaze with pieces of nuts, following our recipe, is perfect for decorating Easter cakes, muffins, croissants, or cookies. The butter in the chocolate-nut glaze will make it glossy and pliable, while the nuts will create a contrast in textures. Choose dark chocolate without additives with a high cocoa content. It is optimal to use confectionery chocolate in drops, but regular high-quality chocolate bars will also work.

Dry the hazelnuts in a frying pan without oil for 3 minutes, place in a glass of an immersion blender and grind into crumbs.
Roughly break up the chocolate and place in a bowl. Place the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water and melt the chocolate, stirring constantly with a spatula. Remove the bowl from the stove.
Pour vegetable oil into the chocolate in three additions. After each addition of butter, stir the chocolate mixture thoroughly. Combine the chocolate with chopped nuts and stir the glaze with a spatula.
