Beautiful snack rolls-tulips with sausage made from rich yeast dough — the taste of childhood and a space for creativity. In our recipe, the rolls are prepared with a filling of boiled sausage, but you can use only the dough recipe and the roll shape as a guide, while changing the filling to your taste — not only any other sausage will work, but also meat, slices of baked chicken, and even vegetable pâtés or tapenades.

Let's make a dough. Combine 50 ml of warm milk with sugar and salt, add 3 tbsp. flour and yeast. Stir.
Let the dough rise for 20 minutes.
To the dough add melted butter and vegetable oil, an egg and sifted flour in portions. Knead elastic dough.
Cut the sausage into thin slices.
Roll out the dough into a layer approximately 0.5 cm thick. Using a glass, cut out circles. Place a piece of sausage on one of the blanks.
Cover the sausage with another circle of dough.
Place another piece of sausage on top.
Cover with dough again. We make cuts without reaching the edge alternately on one side and the other. Only 5 cuts.
Let's give the blank a tulip shape. We start from the left side. Place the first (lower) petal under the second, place the second (upper) petal on top of the first, etc.
Place the pieces on a baking sheet and brush with beaten egg and a teaspoon of milk.
Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C until golden brown. BON APPETIT!!!
