Pea porridge in a slow cooker is prepared very simply, and with minimal participation from the hostess, which is especially valuable. By the way, this dish is not only satisfying, but also very healthy: it is rich in B vitamins, vegetable protein and dietary fiber, which improve the digestion process. Well, in order for the porridge to be perfectly digestible, it should definitely be prepared after pre-soaking the peas in cold water. Which multicooker mode should I choose for such a dish? Any long one, at least an hour and a half. During the fasting period, pea porridge can be prepared without ham and brisket, and served sprinkled with fried onions.

Ham - 100 g
Smoked brisket - 100 g
Vegetable oil - 4 tbsp

Prepare the slow cooker and the ingredients for the dish. Rinse the dried peas thoroughly and place in a large bowl. Fill with cold water so that its level is 5 cm above the level of the legumes. Soak for 2 hours.
