Meat zrazy with egg in the oven is a dish of Lithuanian cuisine. This is the common name for meat cutlets, most often made from beef, with various fillings. For example, as in our version - with an egg. But you will be surprised how many delicious things you can put inside: fried mushrooms, carrots, cheese, broccoli, and crackers. Usually they are cooked in a frying pan in vegetable oil until golden brown. But we offer a healthier, dietary option - bake the cutlets in the oven. Believe me, this will greatly simplify our task. You don’t need to stand at the stove for a long time: put the pan in the oven and, while you wait for the signal that it’s ready, cook a side dish or cut a salad. A cozy homemade dish can be served with vegetables, mashed potatoes, or pasta.

Mixed minced meat (beef and pork) - 600 g
Chicken egg - 4 pcs.
Bulb onions - 1 pcs.
Bun Stolichnaya - 1 pcs.
Milk 3.2% - 200 ml
Cream 20% (medium fat) - 80 ml
Smoked ground paprika - 5 g
Grainy mustard - 10 g

Start cooking meat zrazy with egg in the oven with minced meat: cut the crusts off the bun, crumble with your hands and place in a bowl. Pour in milk and leave so that it absorbs all the liquid. Then puree with a blender. Remove excess liquid.
Add 1 egg, chopped bread, salt, pepper, mustard, smoked paprika to the minced meat and mix until smooth. You can lightly beat the minced meat on a cutting board.
Place the remaining eggs in a saucepan, add water and bring to a boil. Cook for about 7 minutes. To prevent the shell from cracking, you can salt them a little. Then cool the eggs, peel them and cut them into small cubes.
Peel and chop the onion. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, add the onion and cook until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Cool.
In a bowl, combine chopped eggs with fried onions and stir. With wet hands, separate small pieces of minced meat and make a flat cake. Place the egg filling in the middle and shape them immediately. So make all the preparations.
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a deep baking dish with vegetable oil and place the zrazy in it. Brush with cream. Bake in the oven for about 40-45 minutes. Place on plates and serve with any side dish.
