It’s not a shame to serve jellied pie with berries and sour cream for a celebration. The baked goods look very elegant and festive. The combination of delicate filling, crumbly dough and sour berries will appeal to both children and adults. Shortbread dough is easy to prepare, so even an inexperienced housewife can handle the recipe. The base is butter. Choose only natural ones, without adding vegetable fats. In our recipe, we will add sour cream to the classic composition of butter, eggs and flour. It will make the dough even more tender and the taste creamier. Thicken the filling with starch, dilute with berries, and the aromatic, delicious pie is ready! Dust it with powdered sugar before serving and enjoy!

Prepare all ingredients for making jellied pie with sour cream. Cut the cold butter with a knife, add sugar to it and rub with a spoon.
Sift the flour, baking powder and salt through a sieve and add in portions, kneading thoroughly after each portion, into the creamy mixture. Grind into crumbs.
Add sour cream, egg to the creamy crumbs and knead into a homogeneous dough without lumps. Roll it into a ball, wrap it in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Line a baking pan with parchment or grease it with any fat and sprinkle with flour. Place cold dough into it, forming high sides. Refrigerate while you prepare the filling.
Prepare the filling. To do this, beat the eggs into a bowl, add sugar, vanilla sugar, sour cream, starch and whisk until smooth.
Sort the berries, remove spoiled fruits and stalks, rinse thoroughly in a colander, and then place on a kitchen towel and dry naturally.
Preheat the oven to 180˚C. Remove the mold from the refrigerator, pour the prepared egg-cream filling into it, distribute the berries.
Bake the pie for about 30-40 minutes. Check doneness with a wooden skewer. Then cool the cake in the pan. Take it out. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
