How to make delicious black currant tincture? Take fresh, ripe black currants, add sugar for sweetness, clean water for softness, a little high-quality vodka and mint leaves for a unique aroma. Everything is ready to create a magical drink at home!
Carefully sort through the blackcurrant berries to remove any unwanted leaves and twigs, then gently rinse them in cold water. After that, place the berries in a large glass jar with a screw cap and add sugar. Leave for 3-4 hours so that the currants miraculously release their juice.
Mix vodka with water in a pitcher, then generously pour this mixture over the currants and melted sugar in the jar. Seal the jar tightly and find a dark, cool place where the drink can quietly infuse for a full 30 days. This process will give the liqueur a unique taste and aroma.
In a month, start straining the infusion through a sieve lined with three layers of cheesecloth. Gently squeeze the juice from the berries enclosed in the cheesecloth. Return the infusion to the jar. Put mint leaves in the jar, close the lid, and leave for 1 week.
Again, carefully strain the tincture through several layers of cheesecloth into a clean container. Pour the resulting drink into elegant bottles, add labels indicating the month and year. Store this delightful drink with pride in the refrigerator.
