Start preparing your "Zebra" cottage cheese casserole by preheating the oven to 170°C. Then, thoroughly grease a 20-22 cm diameter baking dish with butter to prevent sticking and ensure easy removal of the casserole.

In a deep bowl, combine the eggs with regular and vanilla sugar. Whisk this mixture with a mixer until a fluffy and airy foam is formed. Add the cottage cheese and starch, then gently mix until smooth. Divide the resulting dough into two equal parts. To one part, add natural yogurt and cocoa, then whisk again with a mixer to obtain chocolate dough.

Let's begin creating the famous "Zebra" pattern. Place 3 tablespoons of the light cottage cheese mixture in the center of the prepared pan. Carefully layer 3 tablespoons of the cocoa mixture on top of it. Continue alternating layers of light and dark batter until all of it is used. Gently transfer the pan to the preheated oven and bake the casserole for 45–50 minutes. After baking, allow the casserole to cool completely in the pan—this will help it firm up and maintain its shape. Then, transfer the finished dessert to a serving dish and dust with powdered sugar for an appealing presentation.
