Thoroughly rinse the turkey drumstick and pat it dry with a paper towel. Wash the orange well, as it will be used with the peel.
Carefully separate the turkey meat from the bone and cut it into medium pieces. Slice the orange into medium wedges, skin on, and remember to remove the seeds.
In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce and honey until smooth. This sweet and savory sauce will form the base of the marinade.
Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the coriander, cumin, and khmeli suneli, then stir. Warm the spices until they begin to release their captivating aroma.
Pour the beer over the aromatic spices – it will help tenderize the meat fibers. Place the turkey pieces in the pan, and carefully arrange the orange slices around the edges.
Cover the pan and reduce the heat. Simmer the meat for 10-15 minutes, until most of the beer has evaporated, stirring the turkey pieces occasionally.
Pour the previously prepared mixture of soy sauce and honey into the pan. Stir thoroughly so that each piece of turkey is coated with the marinade. Season lightly with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Fry for another 10 minutes until a delicious golden-brown crust forms.
Arrange the fragrant turkey drumstick pieces on a plate, garnish with fresh orange slices, and serve, savoring each succulent bite!
