Cooking cod in a pan is very simple. You just need to cut it into pieces and fry them in preheated oil until a golden crust forms. After frying, be sure to drizzle the cod with lemon juice. It will not only add a pleasant acidity to the fish but also make it firmer, ensuring it doesn't fall apart when served. If you don't have lemon juice, you can use regular vinegar, but in a smaller amount.

Take the cod fillet and cut it into several pieces. Sprinkle them with salt and pepper to taste.
Rub the fish thoroughly so that it is well-infused with the spices.
Place the frying pan over medium heat. Add the pieces of butter and wait for it to heat up. Tip: choose a non-stick pan so that the cod does not stick to the bottom.
Add the olive oil to the melted butter and mix well.
Place the fish fillet pieces into the preheated oil.
Fry the cod over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side until a golden-brown crust forms.
Once the fish is cooked, drizzle it with lemon juice and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to remove any excess grease.
