Begin by preparing: peel the onions and thoroughly wash the mushrooms until they are perfectly clean.
Soak the milk caps in cold water for 2 hours to allow them to absorb moisture. Then drain the water, add fresh water, and boil the mushrooms for 20 minutes from the moment they come to a boil. Drain them in a colander and let all excess moisture drain off, so the mushrooms are ready for the next step.
Slice the mushrooms into appetizing pieces, and the onion into thin quarter rings. Place the onion in a heated pan with oil and fry over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it turns a beautiful golden color.
Add the sliced milk caps to the golden onions and sauté them together for 15 minutes, allowing the mushrooms to develop a rich flavor. Season with salt to taste and mix thoroughly, ensuring every piece is infused with the aroma.
Add the flour to the pan, stirring continuously, and cook for another minute until the flour is lightly browned. Then, incorporate the sour cream and heat for an additional 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and coats the mushrooms in a delicate creamy veil.
