Cabbage is excellent for braising. For a subtle sweet note, add red onion, along with dried herbs and ginger. Combined with various spices, the dish will take on a wonderfully delicate flavor. Season the cabbage 5-10 minutes before it is finished cooking. Adding tomato paste will give the dish a beautiful color.

Carrot 1 pc. - 100 g
Onion - 100 g
Olive oil - 3 tbsp.
Red onion - 40 g
Dried oregano - 6 g
Salt - 10 g
Nutmeg - 7 g
dried basil - 4 g
Marjoram - 4 g
Ground black pepper - 3.5 g
Ground ginger - 3 g
Cherry tomatoes - to taste

Shred the cabbage into strips and grate the carrots using a coarse grater.
Slice the yellow and red onions into half-rings.
Pour oil into a pot or pan and sauté both types of onions until golden brown. This will take approximately 10 minutes.
Add the carrots to the onion and fry for another 15 minutes.
Next, add the cabbage to the pan. Season with salt and sauté under a lid until the cabbage is tender. This will take about 20-30 minutes.
Add the tomato paste and stir in the nutmeg, oregano, basil, marjoram, pepper, and ginger. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
