Hard boil the eggs. Process the herring, remove the bones and cut into pieces. Allow the oil to warm to room temperature. Put all the ingredients in a blender (if you like an airy, creamy mass, like me). Or pass through a meat grinder.
Beat on a mixer until a homogeneous buttery mass.
Place the resulting spread in a storage container and store in the refrigerator. Can be served with unsweetened pancakes, keto pancakes, fritters and simply as an addition to sandwiches.
