Cut 500 g of lamb into large pieces. For cooking, it is better to choose the soft part of the meat.
Peel 3 potatoes, 1 carrot and 1 onion, cut all vegetables into large cubes. If you have a small potato, cut it into 4 parts, if it is medium, you can cut it into 6. Clean the sweet pepper from the seeds and cut it in the same way.
Pour 50 ml of sunflower oil into a cauldron or pan with a thick bottom and put the onion and carrot first, fry for a few minutes until the onion becomes soft.
Add the lamb and fry until a light golden crust appears. Add salt and pepper to taste, add a pinch of suneli hops. Pour 1 liter of cold water and cook for 30 minutes after boiling on low heat.
Finally, put pieces of sweet pepper, 1 tbsp. l. tomato paste and crushed garlic cloves. Simmer on low heat for another 15 minutes. Serve shurpa with chopped fresh cilantro.
