Italian cream buns

Flour - 490 g
Milk, warm - 160 ml
Eggs - 2 pcs.
Margarine "Pyshka" - 60 g
Honey - 60 g
Sugar - 50 g
Active dry yeast - 2.5 tsp.
Vanilla sugar - 1 tsp.
Orange zest - 1 tsp.
Salt - ½ tsp.
Egg yolk - 1 pcs.
Milk - 1 tbsp.
Vegetable oil - 1 tsp.
Cream 33% fat - 375 ml
Vanilla sugar - 1 tsp.
Powdered sugar - 2 tbsp.
Powdered sugar/ice cream for serving - to taste

In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast and sugar and stir briefly. Leave for 5 minutes.
Melt the margarine. Add eggs to the dough and mix well. Pour in margarine, add honey, vanilla sugar and zest. Stir the dough until smooth.
Sift the flour with salt and add to the dough in parts, kneading thoroughly. The dough will be quite sticky. Knead the dough for 7-8 minutes.
When the dough is formed into a ball, place it in a bowl greased with vegetable oil, cover with film and leave for 1 hour in a warm place.
When the dough doubles in size, punch it down and divide it into 12 equal parts (80-90 g each). Form into round buns.
Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Cover with a towel and leave for another 30 minutes in a warm place.
Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a small bowl, lightly whisk the egg yolk with a spoonful of milk.
Brush the buns with the egg mixture and bake for 30-35 minutes. When the buns are ready, remove the baking sheet and let cool.
Prepare the cream: beat cold cream with the addition of powdered sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy and thick.
Cut each bun 2/3 of the way down the center. Fill the buns with cream using a spatula or pastry bag, so that the cream protrudes slightly. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
