Beef patties on an electric grill turn out just as tasty and juicy as on a pan, but their calorie content will be lower since we don't use oil for frying. And, of course, for the best results, prepare them from ground meat made by yourself from a good piece of meat. In this case, the patties will be tender yet firm, without excess "water." How long to grill them? It's best to follow the numbers indicated in the appliance's instructions. If there are no specific guidelines, 10–12 minutes should suffice. Unsure if the beef patties grilled are done? Take one out and pierce it with a knife: the juice should be clear, without a pink tint.

Prepare minced meat for cutlets. Pass the beef pulp through a meat grinder into a bowl. Cut off the crusts from the bread and soak the crumb in cold water for 15 minutes. Peel the onion and garlic, chop very finely.
Add the onion and garlic to the shredded beef in a bowl. Squeeze out the bread. Also add to beef with onion and garlic. Salt, pepper and knead the minced meat (at least 10 minutes). Leave for 15 minutes at room temperature.
Preheat the grill according to the appliance instructions. Form the resulting ground beef into round patties. Flatten them to make flat cakes no more than 1.5cm thick.
Place the cutlets on the grill and close it. Fry for 10–15 minutes until golden brown (some devices have a function for calculating cooking time depending on thickness).
