A salad made of fresh cabbage and cucumber is very simple in terms of both ingredients and preparation, yet it is liked by many, which is why it is considered one of the most popular. It is especially good in the summer when we have the best ground-grown produce at our disposal. It is better to use young cabbage for such a salad: its tender leaves will become the ideal base for the dish. As for fresh cucumbers, choose small ones with tiny seeds. And be sure to dress the fresh cabbage salad with unrefined sunflower oil, which gives the dish a pleasant aroma and a more pronounced flavor.

Dill - 50 g
Garlic - 1 clove

Prepare all salad ingredients. Remove the top leaves from the cabbage. Remove the stalk. Chop the leaves and place in a large bowl. Salt and rub with your hands. Leave for 15 minutes.
After the specified time, squeeze out the cabbage and transfer to another bowl. Wash and dry the cucumbers. Cut off the ends. Cut the cucumbers into strips. Add to the bowl with the cabbage.
Sort the dill, wash and dry well with paper towels. Remove any tough stems. Finely chop the remaining greens. Peel the garlic and pass through a press.
Add garlic to dill, add a little salt. Rub with your hands and leave for 10 minutes. Then add to the cabbage and cucumbers. Pepper the salad ingredients, pour in unrefined sunflower oil and mix.
