1. We put the water on the strongest fire so that it boils faster. While the water is boiling, wash the barley until the water becomes clear.
When the water boils, we throw the washed groats into the water and wait until it boils, when the porridge boils, which happens quickly, we reduce it to a slow fire. You can close the pan with a lid, but it is better not to move far from the stove, otherwise the porridge will escape even on low heat.
Cook the porridge over low heat, stirring constantly, until the porridge thickens. It took me 10 minutes to cook so that the porridge became viscous.
Add butter and stir until the oil is completely dissolved. Then let the porridge stand on low heat for a few more minutes. Then turn off the stove.
Place on plates. I got two servings. You can add sugar to taste, but this is a wish, I did not add it. Bon appetit!
