Potato cream soup with chicken, croutons, and cheese is a delicious first course with a creamy consistency and a pronounced creamy-cheese flavor. Preparation Steps

Step 1

Place the chicken breast in a pan and add 600ml water. Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce heat to low. Skim off the foam, add salt, cover the pan with a lid and cook the chicken for 10 minutes.

Remove chicken from pan. Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes and add to the broth. Season with freshly ground pepper and continue cooking the soup for another 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are soft.

Pour the broth into another bowl and mash the potatoes with a potato masher. Add chopped garlic and cream cheese, pour in the broth and stir. Bring the soup to a boil and remove from heat.

Cut the bread into cubes and place in a bowl. Sprinkle with dried garlic, drizzle with olive oil and mix thoroughly. Transfer to a dry skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the croutons are lightly browned.

Cut the chicken into thin slices and place on plates. Top up with soup, sprinkle with pepper, add some croutons and serve. Place remaining croutons in a small bowl and serve separately.
