Dates with almonds in white chocolate are a treat for real sweet tooths. The candies turn out to be really sweet, so you won't be able to eat more than one or two at a time. The best accompaniment for such a dessert would be a cup of unsweetened tea or coffee. The dates with almonds store perfectly for 3-5 days simply in a container at room temperature. And if you need to keep the candies longer, it's better to put them in the refrigerator.

Place almonds in a saucepan with boiling water and blanch for 3 minutes. Place in a sieve, rinse with cold water and peel off the skin. Pat dry with paper towels and toast in a dry frying pan for 2 minutes.
Pour the nuts into a blender glass and grind into fine crumbs in the “pulse” mode. Set aside about 1.5 tbsp. l. almond crumbs for serving, add powdered sugar to the rest and grind the mixture to a paste. Make a cut in each date and remove the pit. Stuff the dates with almond paste.
Melt the chocolate and butter in the microwave, turning it on several times for 10 seconds, stirring between heats.
Using a toothpick, dip the dates into the melted chocolate. Place the chocolate covered dates on a parchment lined plate. Immediately sprinkle the chocolate covered dates with the almond crumbs. Place the date dish in the refrigerator until the chocolate is completely set.
