Preparation Steps

Step 1

Prepare the broccoli. Clean the head of cabbage and cut off the inflorescences. Divide into smaller ones. Bring about 3 liters of water to a boil in a saucepan. Salt it a little.

Place broccoli florets into boiling water. Cook for 5 minutes. Drain the water. Place the broccoli in a bowl of ice water for 5 minutes to keep the florets bright green. Drain the broccoli in a colander.

Remove the crab sticks for the salad from the packaging and cut into slices. Peel the red onion and cut into strips. Place in a bowl and add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. Stir.

Cut the sweet pepper in half. Remove the seed core and membranes. Cut the sweet pepper into strips. Wash the lettuce, dry and tear.

Combine broccoli, onions, crab sticks, bell peppers, lettuce and canned corn in a large salad bowl. Add salt, pepper and stir.
