We know exactly how to dye eggs with hibiscus tea for Easter and want to share this wonderful recipe with you. There are no difficulties, and the result is simply delightful. Eggs dyed with hibiscus tea have a lilac or blue tint of varying intensity (this depends on both the concentration of the tea and the duration of exposure). Additionally, a beautiful marbled pattern forms on the surface of the shell, which romantic homemakers call "cosmic." All the details of the process for preparing such dyed eggs are in our recipe.

Prepare the eggs. Inspect them for cracks. You will need absolutely undamaged eggs. Wash them gently with warm running water. Leave them at room temperature for 30 minutes to warm them up.
Pour hibiscus tea into a saucepan. Pour boiling water and place over medium heat. Cook for 3 minutes. Add salt and table vinegar. Stir. Leave on medium heat.
Carefully lower the eggs into the pan with hibiscus tea (one at a time, using a slotted spoon). Bring to a boil and cook for 7 minutes. This is enough for the yolk and white to harden.
Turn off the heat under the pan with the eggs. Check that they are all completely covered with hibiscus petals. Leave the eggs in the infusion for at least 3 hours. The longer you keep them, the darker their color will be.
Remove the finished eggs from the pan with the hibiscus infusion with a slotted spoon onto 2-3 layers of paper towels. Let dry, then carefully remove any stuck petals.
Brush each colored egg with refined vegetable oil to make it shiny. Place on a plate or in a basket. Easter colors are ready.
