Prepare all ingredients. Inspect the eggs and select undamaged eggs for cooking, without the slightest cracks (otherwise they may burst during heat treatment).
Wash the eggs with warm running water and then dry. If you want to get a pattern in the form of stripes on the eggs, take any thread and wrap each egg randomly, without worrying, so that it is very even. Secure the ends, otherwise they will unwind during cooking.
Place turmeric in a saucepan. Pour in 1 liter of hot water and mix thoroughly until all particles dissolve. It should take on a beautiful dark yellow color.
Use a slotted spoon to transfer the eggs into the turmeric solution. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil. Cook for no more than 10 minutes, otherwise the yolk will acquire an unappetizing gray shell.
Remove the pan with the eggs in the turmeric infusion from the heat. Leave them in the infusion until they have cooled completely. You can lay out half earlier: then some eggs will turn out lighter than others.
Place the colored eggs on the wire rack. Let dry completely. If the eggs have threads wrapped around them, carefully remove them. The top layer can be carefully cut off with a sharp blade.
Brush the beautiful yellow colored eggs with refined vegetable oil. It is convenient to do this with a cotton pad or a small piece of non-woven material.
Place the eggs on a nice plate. You can also decorate Easter cottage cheese, Easter cakes with them, or place them inside a buttery Easter wreath. Serve on the holiday table.
