Mannik with apricots on kefir—whether it's a pie or a casserole, it's definitely a very tasty and hearty dish. It's prepared very quickly and easily, so this recipe can be safely recommended to beginners. By the way, it's quite acceptable to add both dried apricots and fresh ones to the filling: the essence won't change, but the flavor nuances will differ slightly. We tried both options and were satisfied with either. As for using brown sugar in the recipe, of course, it can be replaced with regular white sugar. But the former will give the mannik with apricots exquisite caramel notes.

Prepare all manna ingredients. Wash the dried apricots thoroughly and place in a bowl. Fill with warm water and leave for 15 minutes. Place on a sieve and chop finely.
If you use fresh apricots for manna, wash the fruits and dry them. Cut into halves and remove the pits. Cut the pulp into small cubes.
Beat the eggs with brown and vanilla sugar with a mixer until a fluffy mass of homogeneous consistency is obtained. Pour in kefir. Mix thoroughly. Add semolina. Stir and leave for 5 minutes.
Add prepared apricots or dried apricots to the semolina mass. Stir again. Grease the mold with a piece of butter. You can additionally sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
Pour the semolina mixture with apricots (dried apricots) into the prepared form. Leave for 10 minutes. Preheat the oven to 190°C. Place the form with semolina mass on a baking sheet. Bake for about 40 minutes.
Let the finished manna with apricots (dried apricots) cool slightly (20 minutes). Place it on a plate and roughly chop it. You can serve it with berry sauce or jelly.
