Cinnamon rolls made from puff pastry will win you over from the first bite. Airy, soft, delicious. The spice gives them a bright flavor and an incomparable aroma! And we will also soak the rolls in glaze. This will make them even softer, more tender, and tastier. The pastry resembles the familiar Cinnabons, which were created by father and son Komen in 1985. Swedes also honor cinnamon pastry and celebrate Kanelbulle Day every year on October 4th – a holiday in honor of this treat. Both options are very tasty because pastries with added spices are good in any preparation. Try making our simpler version with ready-made puff pastry. This will save you a lot of time while still delivering excellent results.

Prepare the filling for the buns. Melt the butter in a water bath or in the microwave. Add cinnamon and brown sugar to it and stir. When the butter hardens, the consistency will resemble wet sand.
Rinse the raisins thoroughly with water and sort. Then pour boiling water and leave for 30 minutes. Wash again and dry on a paper towel. Roll in flour.
Thaw the puff pastry dough according to the instructions on the package. Sprinkle your work surface with flour. Roll out the layer, 1 cm thick. Grease with butter and cinnamon. Distribute the raisins.
Grease a round baking dish with vegetable oil. Roll the dough into a tight roll. Cut with a sharp knife into pieces about 5 cm wide. Place in a mold. Leave space between the pieces so that the buns can rise. Brush with egg.
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cover the baking sheet with a towel and leave in a warm place for 30 minutes. Then bake the buns in the oven for about 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
Prepare the glaze. In a bowl, combine powdered sugar with vanilla sugar, pour in hot milk and stir until smooth. Drizzle glaze over buns, cool slightly and serve.
