Crush, peel and finely chop the garlic. For the basil, remove the leaves from the stems and set aside, and cut the stems into as thin slices as possible.
Peel the shrimp from the shell (the tail can be saved, this makes the salad look more elegant). Cut the shrimp lengthwise down the center of the back, removing the dark intestinal vein, if present. Help yourself with the tip of a paper towel.
Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan. Mix shrimp with garlic and basil, add salt, and place in a frying pan. Fry over high heat for about 1.5 minutes. from each side. Place the cooked shrimp on a plate and season with pepper.
Peel the cucumber, cut lengthwise, remove the seeds with a sharp spoon (they will not be needed). Cut the pulp crosswise into pieces 1 cm thick. Wash the lime with a brush, dry, grate the zest with a fine grater, squeeze out the juice. Pour half the lime juice over the cucumbers, sprinkle with zest and salt.
Peel the avocado, remove the pit, cut the pulp into medium pieces, and sprinkle with the remaining lime juice. Mix all the prepared products, season with chopped basil leaves and more oil, salt and pepper.
