When the heat arrives and sweet, juicy watermelons fill the stalls, a watermelon mojito – non-alcoholic! – becomes a lifesaving idea for a friendly gathering. It quenches thirst wonderfully, refreshes, and lifts the mood. If you want to turn it into an alcoholic mojito, you can simply add rum without changing anything else in our recipe. The limes should be zesty, the mint freshest, and the watermelon – sweet and juicy. If it turns out to be insufficiently sweet, don't despair: just add sugar to the cocktail.

Tear mint leaves and stems into pieces. Select 6 neat tops with a few leaves to decorate cocktails. Throw the rest into the blender bowl.
Cut the limes in half crosswise. Cut one half into 6 slices and set aside for garnish. Squeeze the juice from the three halves. Add it to the blender bowl with the mint.
Cut the watermelon pulp and seeds into small pieces and place in a blender bowl. There is no need to select seeds. Blend watermelon with mint and lime juice in a blender. It will quickly turn into a liquid state, and the seeds will not have time to grind.
Strain the watermelon juice through a fine sieve and wipe out the remaining pulp. All coarse ingredients - seeds, as well as squeezed mint stems and leaves will remain in the sieve. You can throw them away.
Make sugar rims around the edges of the glasses. To do this, pour granulated sugar into one saucer and pour a little clean water into the other. Dip the rim of the glass into the water, then shake it off and dip the rim of the glass into the sugar. The crystals will stick to the glass.
Crush the ice and place it in glasses. Pour watermelon-lime juice into them. Add sparkling water to desired level, being careful not to touch sugar edges. Garnish cocktails with mint leaves and lime slices.
