Cottage cheese balls fried in oil are good both inside and out. That is, they look so appetizing that it's impossible not to try these donuts. And it will be very difficult to stop because the balls are fantastically tasty and aromatic. Is it difficult to make them with your own hands? Not at all! But let's clarify that in this case, we are talking not about baking in the oven, but about frying the balls in a deep fryer. The dough made from cottage cheese is very simple and quick to prepare: you will easily see this when you read our recipe.

Prepare all the ingredients for the koloboks. Pass the cottage cheese through a fine metal sieve into a bowl. In another, beat eggs with regular and vanilla sugar. Sift the flour and baking powder into a third bowl.
Add eggs with sugar to cottage cheese. Mix thoroughly. Gradually add flour mixture. Knead the dough for the koloboks first with a spatula, then with your hands. It should turn out soft, plastic, and not stick to your hands.
On a table dusted with flour, roll the curd dough into a sausage. Cut it into 23-25 pieces. Roll each into a small ball. The dough pieces for the koloboks are ready.
Pour refined vegetable oil into a saucepan or saucepan. Place over medium heat and heat to 180-190°C (check with a cooking thermometer).
Using a slotted spoon, drop the dough balls into the boiling oil in small batches (they increase greatly in volume during heat treatment). Fry until dark golden brown.
Place the finished buns with a slotted spoon on several layers of paper towels to absorb excess fat. Also prepare the remaining dough pieces. Before serving, sprinkle the buns with powdered sugar.
