For the “Snowdrifts with Chicken and Mushrooms” salad, prepare all the ingredients in advance. Boil chicken breast fillet in salted water for 30 minutes. Boil potatoes and carrots in their skins until soft.
Cool the potatoes and carrots and peel them. Grate the vegetables on a coarse grater into two different bowls. Hard-boil the eggs for 10 minutes, rinse with cold water, cool completely and peel.
Remove the cooled chicken breast fillet from the broth, pat dry and place on a cutting board. Cut the chicken into small cubes or gently shred the chicken into thin fibers using a fork.
Peel the champignons for the Snowdrifts salad and chop finely. Fry them in a frying pan with heated vegetable oil until the liquid has evaporated. At the end, add salt and pepper. Let the mushrooms cool.
Take a flat salad dish and place all the ingredients on it in layers, covering each layer with a mayonnaise mesh. 1st layer - potatoes, 2nd - carrots, 3rd - fillet, 4th - fried champignons. Generously coat the top layer with mayonnaise.
Prepare decorations for the “Snow Drifts with Chicken and Mushrooms” salad. Cut the eggs into halves and carefully remove the yolks. Pass the garlic through a press. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
Mash the boiled yolks with a fork in a bowl, mix with garlic and mayonnaise to a paste, lightly salt. Fill the egg halves with the resulting paste.
Place the egg halves with the filling down on the top layer of the salad, covered with mayonnaise. Using a brush, brush the tops of them with mayonnaise to help the cheese stick better. Sprinkle generously with grated cheese. Place the salad in the refrigerator for soaking for 2 hours.
