Pizza with corn and sausage is a recipe from the "use whatever is in the fridge" series. However, traditional Italian pizza was roughly invented in the same way. Nowadays, there are many varieties of pizza with their own names, but historically, pizza was simply a flatbread with toppings. Originally flat, later made from yeast dough. For a long time, pizza was considered a poor man's dish, and there was no single recipe. Prepare yeast dough using our recipe, roll it out or stretch it by hand, add toppings of corn and sausage, onions, tomatoes, and cheese, bake in the oven, and enjoy!

Flour - 550 g
Water - 220 ml
Yeast dry high-speed Saf-moment - 1 tsp.
Sugar - 1 tsp.
Salt - 1 tsp.
Sausage - 150 g
Cheese - 100 g
Tomato - 2 pcs.
Canned sweet corn - 4 tbsp.
Large onion - 1 pcs.
Ketchup - 3 tbsp.
Mayonnaise - 3 tbsp.

Pour warm water into a large bowl, add yeast, salt and sugar and stir. After 5 minutes, add 500 g of flour and knead into a soft dough. Roll the dough into a ball, return to the bowl, cover with cling film and leave in a warm place for 1 hour. Punch down the dough and leave for another 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Cut the onion into half rings. Grate the cheese. Chop the sausage into thick strips. Cut the tomato into slices.
Sprinkle your work surface with the remaining flour, roll out the dough into a sheet and carefully transfer to a baking sheet. Spread the chopped onion over the entire surface and lightly press into the dough. Grease with mayonnaise and sprinkle with ketchup. Distribute sausage, corn and tomatoes evenly over crust and sprinkle with cheese.
Place the baking sheet on the middle rack of the oven and bake the pizza for 25 minutes. Place the finished pizza on a board and slice.
