These bars will provide you with energy and replenish your strength for a long time thanks to the dried fruits, nuts, dark chocolate, and honey in their composition. In the recipe, we will tell you how to make such energy bars at home. It turns out it’s not difficult at all. These bars are convenient to take with you for a quick snack on the road, at work, or school.

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 150°C and line a baking tray with baking paper. Place hazelnuts, almonds, sesame seeds and pumpkin seeds on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Stir the nuts several times. Remove the baking sheet and cool the nut mixture.

Finely chop the dates and dried apricots. Cut 20 g of chocolate into small cubes. Chop cashews and pistachios. In a large bowl, combine the prepared nut mixture, oatmeal, add dried fruits and cashews, add freeze-dried raspberries and chocolate and stir with a spatula so that all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Step 3

Pour honey into a small saucepan and heat over low heat, without boiling, for 1 minute. Pour the hot honey into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until smooth with a mixer fitted with a hook attachment or just a spatula.

Place a sheet of baking paper on your work surface and spread the mixture onto it. Spread with a spatula to form a square about 2 cm thick. Press down thoroughly and cool completely. Cover with foil or cling film and leave for 12 hours at room temperature to stabilize. Cut the compacted mass with a sharp knife into bars measuring 3 x 11 cm.

Step 5

Melt the remaining chocolate in the microwave or in a water bath. Dip the bars halfway into the chocolate and leave until hardened. Once the chocolate has hardened, place the bars in a container.
