Crab salad with a Hawaiian mix is a successful and original interpretation of the popular salad with crab sticks. For its preparation, you will need a minimum of additional ingredients, as the Hawaiian mix already contains everything necessary! Moreover, your salad will stand out advantageously from the standard version – as peas and diced sweet peppers are added to the usual set of products. You can take the simplest route – just boil the Hawaiian mix and then drain it, which takes only 5 minutes. In our step-by-step recipe, however, the frozen mix is pre-fried in olive oil, making the vegetables acquire a more vibrant flavor.

Heat olive oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the Hawaiian mixture, salt and season with ground black pepper. There is no need to defrost the Hawaiian mixture before cooking.
Pour 3-4 tbsp into the pan. water, cover and cook for 5 minutes. Remove the lid, stir the mixture and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Transfer the Hawaiian mixture to a large salad bowl and cool completely.
Place the eggs in a small saucepan and fill with water. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. During this time, the eggs will be hard-boiled. Drain and cool the eggs in cold water.
Remove the crab sticks from the packaging film. Cut each stick lengthwise into two parts, place on a board and cut into pieces 3-4 mm thick.
Cut the pickled cucumbers into cubes with a side of 5 mm. Peel the eggs and cut them into cubes of the same size. Separate the dill leaves from the stems and finely chop them. Cut the green onions into small pieces.
Place chopped crab sticks, chopped dill, chopped eggs and pickled cucumbers in a salad bowl with a Hawaiian mixture. Add mayonnaise and mix the salad thoroughly.
Cover the salad bowl with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour. During this time, the taste of the salad is harmonized. Before serving, remove the film from the salad bowl, add green onions to the salad, mix gently and serve.
