Cut the tofu into 2 cm cubes. Place in a bowl and add half the sauce. Mix gently and leave for 10 minutes. Transfer the cheese pieces to paper towels, pat dry and roll in starch.
Peel and finely chop the ginger and garlic. Slice the white part of the green onion thinly, cut the green part separately into 2 cm long pieces.
In a wok or large deep frying pan, heat a 1 cm layer of oil and fry the tofu over high heat until golden brown on all sides. Remove with a slotted spoon.
Place the white part of the green onion, ginger and garlic into the pan and fry for 30 seconds. Add frozen vegetables and the remaining marinade from the tofu, stir-fry for 4-5 minutes.
Return the tofu to the pan, add the green onions, pour over the remaining sauce, and heat for 1-2 minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
