Grilled stuffed mushrooms will become one of your favorite snacks for picnics or barbecues at the cottage. The recipe is more suitable for large mushrooms - they are more convenient to stuff, but smaller mushrooms can also be prepared this way, it will just take a bit longer and the cooking time will need to be reduced by a couple of minutes. As a filling for the mushrooms, you can use any ground meat, herbs, or even cheese mixed with finely chopped mushroom stems.

Combine the minced meat with finely chopped green onions and chopped garlic. Add salt, season with freshly ground black pepper and stir.
Wipe the champignons with a wet towel. Carefully remove the stem and use a teaspoon to scoop out some of the pulp from the cap. Stuff the caps tightly with minced meat. Pour vegetable oil into a small bowl and coat the mushrooms.
Heat the coals in the grill or barbecue. Cover the grill with foil, greased with vegetable oil, and place the champignons minced side down. Cover with a second sheet of foil and cook for 10 minutes. Remove the top foil, turn the mushrooms onto their caps and continue baking for another 7-8 minutes. Place on plates and serve hot with vegetables and herbs.
