A fish cake with sour cream and banana is a must-make with your children! Trust me, the little ones, and you too, will enjoy both the process and the outcome. Bananas in the recipe add sweetness to the cake. If you're not a fan of overly sweet dishes, you can add any other fruits or berries, or even chopped nuts. Preparation Steps

Step 1

Prepare cream for fish cake. Place the sour cream in a mixer bowl, add powdered sugar and beat. You can adjust the amount of powder to your liking.

To make the filling, wash the bananas, dry them, and then peel them. Cut the pulp into equal cubes. Sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent browning.

Place fish crackers and diced bananas in a bowl with whipped sour cream, then mix thoroughly. The cookies should be evenly covered with cream.

Line the cake pan with cling film. Lay out the prepared dough and compact it. Level the top. Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour. If the sour cream is runny, add more crackers.

For the glaze, melt the dark chocolate in a hot water bath. Pour the cream into it and leave to heat for another 3 minutes. Stir and remove from heat. Cool slightly.

Remove the cake from the mold and place on a flat serving dish. Drizzle with prepared glaze. Leave to harden for 30 minutes. Then cut the cake into portions and serve with hot drinks.
