Children love meatballs very much. Adults – all former children, without exception. So everyone loves meatballs. Especially when they are tender inside, crispy outside, and served with a delicious sauce. In our case, the meatballs are accompanied by quince baked with nuts – a great thing on its own. And when drizzled with juice from the baking meatballs, it becomes even juicier and more aromatic. Overall, the dinner turns out to be very harmonious and interesting.

Mixed minced meat (beef and pork) - 500 g
Green apple - 1 pcs.
Abkhazian adjika - 1 tsp.
Butter for greasing finished flatbreads - to taste
Quince - 3 pcs.

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking pan with parchment and grease with butter. Wash the quince with a brush to get rid of the fuzz. Cut the quince into quarters, carefully remove the core, do not peel the peel. Cut the quarters in half crosswise.
Crush, peel and chop the garlic very finely. Sprinkle with salt and chop some more. Mix garlic with adjika to taste, add 50 ml of warm water.
Place the quince in the prepared form, pour water with 0.5 tsp. adjika and garlic, turn over so that the slices are covered with the spicy mixture on all sides. Place skin side down. Bake in the center of the oven for 25 minutes.
For the meatballs, peel the apple, grate it on a coarse grater, removing the core. Mix adjika with apple and minced meat, add salt. After greasing your hands with oil, form small meatballs.
After 25 min. When baking the quince, sprinkle it with nuts, lay out the meatballs, pour oil over everything, return to the oven for another 15 minutes. Serve the quince meatballs hot.
