Peel the onions, carrots and garlic. Cut the onion and carrots into small cubes, crush the garlic. Cut the celery into slices, sausages into circles. Heat 2-3 tbsp in a saucepan. l. olive oil. Fry sausages, 4 minutes. Add all the vegetables, stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
Mash the tomatoes with a fork and place in a saucepan along with the juice. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes.
Add lentils and 1 liter of water to the pan and bring to a boil. Add salt and pepper, reduce heat and cook covered for 30 minutes.
