Cabbage salad with cucumber is very tasty and completely unpretentious, despite the seemingly simple ingredients. This is because spices and dressing play a big role in the recipe. White cabbage and fresh cucumbers pair wonderfully with cumin and sesame seeds. It's also very important to use delicious oil for the salad dressing. We chose sesame oil. If you prefer pumpkin oil—add pumpkin seeds to the salad; if sunflower oil (better unrefined), then sunflower seeds (ideally—not roasted). And with nut oil, pine nuts would be great, and so on. Olive oil with lemon juice is also an excellent option for a cabbage and cucumber salad.

Finely chop the cabbage, cut the resulting strips in half. Season with salt and leave.
Finely chop the garlic. Cut the cucumbers into thin layers, then cut into long thin strips, add to the cabbage along with the garlic, mix gently.
Cut the green stems into 1mm slices and also add to the cabbage.
Pour 2 tbsp into a saucepan. vegetable oil, add cumin seeds and heat over low heat until the seeds begin to jump, about 3 minutes. Pour boiling oil and cumin over the cabbage and stir.
Fry sesame seeds in a dry frying pan for 2 minutes, cool. Season the salad with sesame oil and pepper, sprinkle with sesame seeds, serve after 5 minutes.
