Rinse the millet in cold water, place in a saucepan and add 300 ml of boiling water. Add salt and cook over medium heat until tender, 20 minutes. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
Peel the apples and cut into medium cubes. Melt butter in a frying pan, add apples and 2-3 tbsp. l. Sahara. Cook over medium heat until soft.
Mix cottage cheese with remaining sugar. Lightly beat the eggs with sour cream, pour about 100 ml to grease the casserole.
In a large bowl, mix millet porridge, cottage cheese and egg-sour cream mixture, add apples at the end and mix gently.
Preheat the oven to 190°C. Grease a baking dish with oil and lightly sprinkle with breadcrumbs or semolina. Transfer the krupenik mixture into the mold and level the surface. Pour in the remaining egg mixture. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 35 minutes until golden brown.
Remove the finished krupenik from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm or completely cooled with sour cream or berry jelly.
