Strawberry puffs are a great idea for a tea party at the dacha: you won't have to fuss with the dough (the recipe uses ready-made dough), and you can pick the berries for the filling right from the garden. The latter is especially pleasant, as "homegrown" ones cannot compare to store-bought in either taste or aroma. In terms of cost, garden strawberries are very economical! By the way, this recipe will be appreciated by those who think strawberries are not very suitable for heat treatment, as the majority of the berry's flavors are lost in that process. Here, the baked puffs are filled with fresh strawberries, ensuring the gastronomic experience is as complete as possible.

Prepare all ingredients. First of all, defrost the puff pastry. To do this, first place it in the refrigerator to soften it. Then place in one layer on the work surface: the dough should warm up to room temperature.
Roll out the dough for the strawberry puffs lightly, using the rolling pin in one direction, otherwise the layers will collapse and the buns will not turn out as fluffy as you would like.
Cut the puff pastry into large squares. Cut out the middle of half to create “frames”. Place whole pieces on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush with yolks.
Place “frames” on top of the dough squares. Brush with remaining yolks. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Bake the base of the puffs—the “baskets”—for about fifteen minutes (until golden brown).
Prepare the puff pastry filling. Place the honey in a saucepan, add sprigs of rosemary and both types of peppercorns. Bring almost to a boil. Then turn off and leave for 15 minutes. Strain through a fine sieve.
Wash the strawberries and dry well. Cut into cubes and place in a bowl. Pour in aromatic honey and stir. Divide the strawberry filling into puff pastries and sprinkle with powdered sugar. You can decorate with beautiful strawberries.
