A roll with raisins made from yeast dough in taste is very reminiscent of Easter cakes. The pastry comes out tender, airy, almost fluffy—just like the ones your mom or grandmother likely baked once. And the aroma wafting from the oven will be amazing! Not only will your family eagerly await the treat for tea, but the neighbors might also drop by to “say hello.” The roll is simple to make with common ingredients. The main thing is to properly prepare the dough. But even here, there’s nothing complicated: a detailed step-by-step recipe with photos is provided to help you. The raisin roll is good to serve both warm and cold—delicious either way. If desired, you can also make buns and sweet pies from the same dough.
