It is incredibly quick to prepare with a minimal amount of the simplest ingredients. This pastry is perfect with tea or coffee.

How to bake shortbread cookies with boiled condensed milk? Measure out the required ingredients. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes soft. Corn starch can be replaced with potato starch. Since the cookies have a sweet filling, I made the dough moderately sweet. If you like it sweeter, use more powdered sugar. Choose boiled condensed milk of high quality, proven. Without vegetable fats and food additives.
In a bowl, combine soft butter, icing sugar and vanilla sugar (or vanillin on the tip of a knife). Add salt to balance the taste. Use powdered sugar, not sugar. Sugar will not have time to dissolve and grains can be felt in the dough.
Blend everything until smooth.
Mix flour with starch and gradually sift into the butter mass. Mix everything quickly. You may need less flour, focus on the consistency of the dough.
The dough is very soft, supple, not sticky to hands. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
I divided the dough into two parts to make it easier to roll out. Roll out the dough into a thin layer. It is better to roll out the dough immediately on parchment so that the cookies do not lose their shape during transfer.
Cut out dough pieces using cookie cutters. I made the top part of the cookie with a hole in the middle. You can cut out cookies with any round recess, for example, a glass.
Also cut out the cookies from the second part of the dough.
Put the dough scraps together, roll out again and cut out the rest of the cookies.
Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180C for about 15 minutes. Make sure the cookies do not dry out and become hard. It should remain pale in color, then it will be tender and crumbly. Please note that the time and mode of baking may be different. Focus on the features of your oven. Cool the baked blanks.
On one cookie, apply a layer of boiled condensed milk.
Cover with second cookie. Form all the cookies in this way. I got 16 cookies with a diameter of 5 cm.
